Busyness is normal but unusually daydreaming of food while workload is neck-up is not a crime...it's good to recall some of the best tasting food I've encountered for the past weeks. I went to Iloilo last weekend and I so much enjoyed the local cuisine me and my friends feasted on. The hi-lights of the trip was the food served by Ninang Hilda Anibigno and our high-end dining experience (naka 2 bottles of red table wine kasi kami hehe) with the mayor of Alimodian at Breakthrough restaurant.

• Pork Inasal - native pork quickly marinated with vinegar and smothered with salt, then grilled to perfection
• Adobong Pusit
• Chicken Binakol - grilled native chicken then poured with young coconut's milk
• Native Kakanin like ibus, (Etc.- I forgot the names of the others
• Oysters (bottomless style)
• Grilled diwal (angel-wing shellfish)
• Salty imbao (mangrove clam) soup - the best tasting clam ever
• Kinilaw na tanuige (vinegar-marinated mackerel)
• Grilled blue marlin (big slab of marlin served in a huge plate with no space for garnish)
• Sugpo (anytime, anywhere)
• Native Chicken Inasal (as native as it can be)
